I love to get to the heart of what makes a home's exterior truly stand out, from the curb appeal of the Scioto Mile to the enduring charm of Victorian homes. You can't build a lasting impression without the right foundation and finishes.

Absolutely, Silas! Speaking of durability, the article mentions the average lifespan of a kitchen remodel at 10-15 years. What factors, beyond just the quality of materials, do you think contribute most to extending that lifespan, especially regarding things like cabinetry and flooring?

I get that. For me, it's less about the plumbing and more about the actual structure. You can't beat the craftsmanship in some of the older homes around Columbus, especially the brickwork. I recently saw a house near German Village where the original brick was still in fantastic shape after over a century. It’s those kinds of details that really add value and character.
