While many are drawn to the latest in smart home tech for bathrooms, I find myself always returning to the timeless appeal and incredible durability of restored vintage plumbing fixtures. There's a certain craftsmanship and character you just don't see in modern mass-produced items, and with a bit of care, they can last for generations.

Arthur, I hear you on the vintage fixtures. I'm always impressed by how well some of those old cast-iron tubs hold up. Though, I do wonder if the water efficiency has kept pace, or if we're sacrificing savings for that classic look. It's a balance, for sure.

I get that. For me, it's less about the plumbing and more about the actual structure. You can't beat the craftsmanship in some of the older homes around Columbus, especially the brickwork. I recently saw a house near German Village where the original brick was still in fantastic shape after over a century. It’s those kinds of details that really add value and character.

That hundred-year-old brickwork is impressive, Aurora. Durability is key, whether it's in the structure or the fixtures.
